Advanced Energy has devoted four decades to perfecting power for its global customers and is headquartered in Denver, Colorado.The Senior Product Marketing Manager will manage and oversee the formulation of all short-term and long-term strategic objectives and business plans to address the needs of our Hyperscale Data Center segment and associated product lines. This includes development of industry insights, multi-generation product roadmaps, strategic pricing, leading stage-gate product development process and marketing activities, and executing strategic partner development. Responsible for leading demand creation and product positioning activities across the sales organization to drive sales, profitability and market share.Responsibilities include:Develop market intelligence including technology trends, customer insights, data center growth, competitive landscape to guide AE's product roadmapServe as the internal expert for top Hyperscale and AI datacenter customersLead assigned product lines, overseeing their commercial success from development through mass productionManage pricing strategies for product lines, emphasizing revenue growth and margin optimizationFormulate and execute strategic plans for assigned product lines, including the development of product roadmaps and robust business casesDesign and coordinate marketing programs and communication materials tailored to various sales channelsCultivate constructive and collaborative relationships with diverse global cross-functional teams, both internal and externalBuild in-depth knowledge and expertise in product technologies, emerging product designs, competitor strengths, market dynamics, and distribution channelsEngage with industry organizations such as the Open Compute Project (OCP) and Infrastructure Masons to influence standards and stay ahead of industry trendsCollaborate with strategic partners and customers to co-develop solutions aligned with hyperscale infrastructure needsWork environment:Location: Milpitas, CA; some domestic and international travel may be requiredEnvironment: Standard office environmentQualifications:Electrical Engineering degree is highly preferredProven experience in power supply product development or related areas within relevant ecosystemsDemonstrated ability to foster productive working relationships within a diverse, global, cross-functional teamExperience collaborating across engineering, sales, and marketing functionsSkilled in consultative selling, with a keen ability to identify and address customer and market needsTrack record of delivering complex technical presentations to varied audiences, with an executive-level presenceExcellent time management and organizational skillsStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to engage effectively across all organizational levels, both internal and externalDemonstrates strong business acumen and an aptitude for balancing strategic and tactical goals, aligning short-term initiatives with long-term objectivesExperience working with or competing against companies such as Delta Electronics, Flex, LiteOn, and other key players in the power supply spaceExperience:8+ years of successful product management experience, emphasizing strategic planning and product development, ideally in the power supply or related industryIn-depth knowledge of and experience with hyperscale customers and ODMsTrack record of progressive career advancementEducation:Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Bachelor's Degree will be considered with sufficient experienceCompensation:As required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
