The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the design and application of Low Voltage switchgear and switchboards based on customer plans and specifications. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Mechanical Engineering and experience with 3D modeling using CREO.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Audit Bill of Material (BOM) for standard product offerings prior to manufacturing process.
  • Complete new designs to meet customer needs outside of standard product offerings.
  • Create designs using CREO Parametric for 3D modeling.
  • Be involved in various projects intended to improve overall quality, efficiency, and/or robustness of products.
  • Demonstrate effective time management to maintain schedules and a high level of customer service.
  • Interact with field sales personnel, project managers, end users and plant manufacturing associates.
  • A BS in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
  • Experience in the manufacture or design of electrical distribution equipment is a plus.
  • 3D modeling experience
  • The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, inter-personal skills, and a strong initiative to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
