Our client, a financial services company, is looking for a Cloud Security Generalist to join their team in Atlanta, GA or Phoenix, AZ. This is a hybrid role, onsite 3 days a week.


**This is a 1 year contract position with the possibility of extension or conversion**


Responsibilities

  • Design and develop Cloud infrastructure security requirements across Cloud platform, container, network, and storage tiers.
  • Enable shift-left security integration through partnership and collaboration across Technology Risk, Information Security, and multiple Technology teams.
  • Work closely with other Technology Risk and Information Security functions, Cloud Security Governance, Cloud Security Operations, and other teams to identify, solution, and deliver security code elements.
  • Drive automation, zero-touch, and idempotency through "everything-as-code" across cloud platform and infrastructure components.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), or equivalent information security degree.
  • At least 2 years of enterprise cloud development experience.
  • Strong public cloud experience with AWS, GCP, and/or Azure (AWS highly desired).
  • Expertise in one of the following areas: Native Policies for different clouds (SCP in AWS, Organization Policies in GCP, Azure policy), Terraform Sentinel, Kubernetes Security, or Cloud Infrastructure Assurance (CIA).
  • Quick learner with the aptitude to learn new areas.
  • Other Information Security or Cloud Certifications preferred (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP).
