In this role, you'll drive long range financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to support division functionshelping ensure cost efficiency and strategic workforce alignment.About The JobThis Financial Manager will play a key role in establishing new financial reporting to support the business. Partnering closely with Finance, Engineering, and Program Management, you will leverage your expertise to support and help execute these plans. FP&A reporting will include a long-range strategy for financial performance, along with the development of short term reporting published on a standard cadence. You will develop metrics and a monitoring plan to ensure the effective implementation of the plan while identifying ways to continually improve the overall financial performance of the company. The challenges you will encounter are innumerable and unpredictable, but you will be expected to take ownership of delivering the technical program solution in overseeing the strategic planning, development, and execution of FP&A initiatives at a business line and program level. Success in this position comes from a dynamic mindset, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to partnering with cross-functional teams to drive impactful financial decisions. Through strategic planning, project management, and business life cycle management, this Financial Manager will work directly with various business leaders to execute on short- and long-term corporate strategies. This position offers a central role in Anduril's strategic growth planning and execution.What You'll DoBusiness Line Long Range Financial Planning & AnalysisOwn the long-range budgeting, forecasting, and analysis process, work streams, and reporting for the consolidated company planDrive cash flow forecasting and management efforts, ensuring liquidity and financial stabilityDevelop complex financial models to assess various financial scenarios and support strategic initiativesConduct thorough balance sheet analyses and report on key financial indicatorsIdentify and implement process improvements to streamline FP&A activities and enhance reporting accuracyCollaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plansLead the development of executive-level reporting and present financial insights to senior managementDrive continuous improvement in financial reporting tools, systems, and proceduresCollaborate with department leaders to provide financial insights, support decision-making, and drive accountability for spendAnalyze trends and risks, offering recommendations to optimize cost structures and improve financial efficiencyIRAD Programs Business ManagerConsiderable partnership and collaboration in support of the IRAD program managersCreate comprehensive budgeting plans for individual IRAD programsManage the overall business line IRAD budgetsLead the headcount forecasting and reporting process, ensuring alignment with financial, operational and technical goalsPartner with People function, Talent Acquisition and department leaders to analyze staffing needs, hiring plans, and workforce costsSupport functional leaders to develop workforce plans as part of the annual planning processTrack actuals vs. forecast for projects including headcount, cost, and deliverablesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant professional certification (CPA, CFA) is a plus5+ years of experience in financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting within a corporate FP&A, investment banking or consulting environmentStrong expertise in cash flow management and working capital optimizationAdvanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis toolsDemonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives in a finance functionExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information in an understandable mannerProven track record of managing multiple projects in a deadline-driven environmentExperience with financial reporting tools and ERP systems (i.e. Anaplan, Netsuite, Oracle, Foundry)Must be authorized to work in the United StatesUS Salary Range $129,000 - $171,000 USDThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
