Access Control SpecialistMantech seeks a motivated and enthusiastic Access Control Specialist to support our current Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory (MCWL) contract in Stafford, VA. This role supports security functions in sensitive environments and access control administration. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:As an Access Control Specialist, you will help manage access to secure areas and systems while supporting security compliance and protection of sensitive assets.Administer physical access control to facilities, ensuring proper credentialing, visitor management, and adherence to access policiesCoordinate badge issuance and revocation, access provisioning, and incident reporting for access violationsConduct routine reviews of access logs, report anomalies, and assist with investigations of security incidentsWork closely with security managers, system administrators, and personnel security teams to ensure access is properly aligned with current roles and authorizationsAssist in maintaining configuration baselines for access control systems and contribute to system upgrades and patchesPrepare and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to access control tasks and processesMinimum Qualifications:High School Diploma / GED and 1-3 years of experience in physical or logical access control administration.Familiarity with government security regulations, including NISPOM, ICDs, and access control requirementsExperience working with access control systems (e.g., Lenel, AMAG, or similar platforms)Ability to manage confidential data and follow security protocols with precisionAbility to work a rotating shift - onsite from 5:45 am - 2pm, 8:00am - 4pm, and 10am - 6 pm which rotates on a weekly basis.Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, OutlookPreferred Qualifications:Associate's Degree in Security Administration, Information Technology, or a related fieldExperience supporting U.S. Government classified environmentsKnowledge of Personnel Security (PERSEC) processes and security clearance managementFamiliarity with electronic visitor management systems and physical security equipmentClearance Requirement:Must have an active / current TS/SCI security clearancePhysical Requirements:Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%. Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access security panels, file cabinets, and office machinery. Frequently communicates with security teams, personnel, and external visitors. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
