We place an emphasis on attracting passionate healthcare professionals who share a philosophy of providing quality patient care in an inviting, caring, and collaborative team environment.All Care Therapies is currently seeking a Bilingual (Spanish) Full-time Physical Therapist Aide to join our dynamic outpatient clinic This is an exciting opportunity to join an evolving therapy team, serving our community in Los Angeles since 2009. As a leader in the rehabilitative care industry, we strive to continually bring solutions to address the evolving challenges of therapy providers. Offering a fun atmosphere of growth and a team dedicated to serving all people from all walks of life.Responsibilities:Maintain a neat/tidy appearance in all areas of the department, returning equipment/ supplies to designated areasRegularly sanitize exercise equipment, mats, and assistive devices according to hospital safety and infection control standards.Evaluate and distribute linen supplies, changing linens on treatment tables according to proceduresMaintain medical supplies in all treatment areasSustain organization in the closets regularlySweep soiled utility and equipment rooms at least twice weekly for therapy equipmentAssist in department communication processes-answer telephones, transit messages from nursing service to the therapist, communicate between therapists, etc.Assist the therapist with delivery, set-up, and clean-up of the treatment area (i.e., patient room, rehab gym, splint set up) for patient care deliveryPatient Care:Assist in and perform patient transfers and lifts using proper body mechanics, according to standard techniques.Assist the therapist in evaluations/treatments at the bedside and the rehabilitation gym (i.e., exercises, mat activities, orthosis fabrication, modality preparation).Report treatment activities, patient progress, and any unusual response to treatment or incident to the therapist.We set standard base pay ranges for all roles based on function and level. Final offer/contract amounts are determined by multiple factors including, skillset, work experience and languages, and may vary from the amounts listed below.The pay range for this position is: $18 - $19/hrQualifications:High School diploma or equivalentStrong customer service and telephone skillsGood Computer skills with MS Office (MS Excel and Word)Must be Fluent in SpanishExperience as a Physical Therapy Aide in Outpatient settings is preferred but not requiredThis position is full-time: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM **Please ensure you are available full-time before applying**Office location: 4300 Long Beach Blvd, Ste 700, Long Beach, CA 90807All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.All Care Therapies is an equal opportunity employer.
