Pay Range: $70 - $80/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Be part of a team that is responsible for managing operations of a large scale production application on AWS.
- The team manages the resiliency, monitoring, as well as the maintenance of the application.
- Get hands-on experience with several AWS services every day, whether they are managing resources via the AWS cli, console, or other build tools.
- Build automation and monitoring solutions.
- Share passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, mentoring other members of the engineering community.
- Collaborate with product owners and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences to help millions of Americans achieve financial empowerment.
- Utilize programming languages like Python, C, Shell Programming, CHEF, Terraform, NoSQL databases, and a variety of AWS tools and services.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- At least 4 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience does not apply)
- At least 2 years of experience with Cloud Native technologies (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Client Cloud Platform)
- At least 1 year of Unix or Linux system administration experience.
- 5+ years of experience in at least one of the following: C, Shell programming, Linux, Python, or Go.
- 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service.
- 3+ years of experience in open source frameworks.
- 2+ years of experience in Agile practices.
- 2+ years of experience in Unix/Linux administration.
