The Electrician is responsible for the condition of all electrical systems in the hospital and for insuring that all maintenance, repairs, and adjustments are performed in a manner which assures the safety of themselves, patients, parents, visitors, and other employees. The Electrician is responsible to insure that all work performed is at a minimum in compliance with all applicable electrical codes. The Electrician is responsible for carrying out continuous quality improvement efforts. The Electrician assists in developing new procedures, work practices, and data collection, to comply with all City, State, Federal, OSHA, NFPA, NEC, and JCAHO codes/requirements.At Children's Mercy, we are committed to ensuring that everyone feels welcomed within our walls.
