Audit Manager, Credit Risk

Location - Flexible

Compensation - 130-150k base

I am currently working with a Global Investment Bank to grow out their Internal Audit team, specifically by adding an Audit Manager within their Credit Risk group.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of experience managing end to end audit activities surrounding commercial credit risk. Additionally, the team is ideally looking for someone who has strong people management skills as you will be responsible for directly overseeing a small team.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, oversee, and execute a variety of audit engagements within the Credit Risk space
  • Act as a SME, interacting and assisting business leaders and stakeholders as needed
  • Guide, coach, and oversee audit staff with the execution of the audit plan
  • Contribute to the planning, development, and continuous improvement of the overall audit strategy

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in Internal Audit, ideally covering Commercial Credit Risk another related function
  • Strong people management skills
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations/standards
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting or another related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
