Per shift, the associate could be loading 6 10 trucks (15,000 21,000 lbs.). Each day could vary.Responsibilities of this role:Partially working in a temperature-controlled fast paced environment between 34 36 degrees.On your feet and moving for the duration of your shift.Manual lifting of cold chain totes up to 30 lbs.Bending, reaching, pushing, pulling walking.Stacking cold chain products onto trailers.Pulling empty bakery cans from trailers.Pushing U-boats from the cooler onto trailers.At all times, follow all SOP's while also adhering to GMP policies.Ability to lift 30 lbs.Ability to push/pull 50lbs or more (on wheels).Performing other duties as assigned to include but not limited to; stamping/coding product, trailer loading/offloading (no PIT required), general warehouse clean uQualifications:No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.High school diploma or equivalent preferredProficient reading skills and ability to follow directions requiredAbility to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills requiredFlexible to work overtime preferredAbility to work in non-climate-controlled conditions requiredRegular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the jobAbility to work independently, customer service, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, and time management skills requiredWillingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location requiredComplete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.This position is designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
