Akkodis is looking to add an experienced and highly capable Teamcenter configuration and customization specialist to their team. The successful candidate will have had several years of Teamcenter configuration, administration, developing customizations, deployment experience and will be ready to hit the ground running in assuming a blend of lead and shared responsibilities in all aspects of PLM. Coordinates with offshore development team in configuration of Teamcenter data model, workflow, utilities, and reporting solutions.

PAY RATE: 125K - 130K


Responsibilities of Position:

The PLM Development Specialist will report directly to the Global PLM Development Manager and work directly with our PLM team based in Auburn Hills, Michigan. This position is responsible for and will have direct involvement in the following duties and responsibilities:


Systems Administration

Monitor and administer all aspects of Teamcenter architecture, configuration, operation and performance including but not limited to the following key areas: BMIDE Configuration Management, Dispatcher, Workflow, Systems Integration, Active Workspace, TK / SOA Utility Management, and Infrastructure provisioning and management.


Configuration

Follow and continuously improve best practices in Teamcenter Configuration. Directly perform configuration in key areas including: Data Model, Security, collaborate with fellow configuration team members (onsite and offshore) and consolidate all development work into consolidated BMIDE projects, and participate in the management of core development processes such as Enhancement Request.


Deployment

Plan, design, develop and implement software build automation processes and methods for the Teamcenter PLM environment, including all activities to ensure code and configuration files are well managed, revision controlled, tested, and packaged ready for deployment to production. Establish, maintain, and administer the software code repositories for PLM applications. Develop detailed build planning documentation to clearly identify all actions required in build configuration and deployment. Manage and consolidate configuration output and contributions of global development team. Manage and drive build validation plan and execution of validation activities by PLM team, Subject Matter Experts, and business partners. Develop processes and methods to automate build deployments. Manage and drive build deployment activities.


Documentation

Contribute to the creation of IT documentation including but not limited to technical architecture, diagrams, configuration guide, deployment guide, build plans and history, and support guide.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • At least five years of Teamcenter administration, configuration, deployment, and support experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree required in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related Engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Development experience using C, C++, C#, Angular JS\React JS is preferable.
  • Prior experience with Teamcenter Upgrade is highly preferred.
  • Experience with license management and vendor management is a plus.
  • Experience with TcPCM (Team Center Product Cost Management Software)Experience with Requirements Management software. (Polarion or TC Requirements Manager)
  • Experience with creating and maintaining customizations.
  • Experience with de-customizing existing customizations.
  • Experience with maintaining license servers.
  • Experience working with third part vendors.
