Working ForepersonThere is a current opening for Working Foreperson on the Weekend Afternoon shift at MSP. This position is only open to current employees of the Metropolitan Airports Commission. Working Forepersons serve the public, promote safety, maintain airport aesthetics and appearance, and help keep the airport operationally safe and managed in a cost-effective manner. Working Forepersons are responsible for overseeing and working with field maintenance employees as assigned by the Field Maintenance Operations Managers or Duty Managers in the performance of airport field maintenance functions in all areas of the airport and all phases of work involved. Working Forepersons are additionally responsible for the safety of personnel and equipment in the performance of all duties, assist in inspections of airside runway, taxiway, ramp areas, landside lots, roads, walks, snow melters, and public areas. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, snow removal operations, asphalt and concrete surface repairs, grounds keeping, general airport cleaning, utility repairs, fencing, signage, environmental duties, and inventory.Hourly Rate: $28.392 - $42.258 Pay Differentials/Incentives+$0.60/hour - Class A CDL -OR- +$.40/hour - Forklift Certification+1.25/hour - 2nd Shift+$2.00/hour - 3rd ShiftCurrent Shifts*Shift: Days; Days: Monday - Friday; Hours: 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.Shift: Afternoon; Days: Monday - Friday; Hours: 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.Shift: Night; Days: Sunday - Thursday; Hours: 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.Shift: Weekend Days; Days: Saturday - Wednesday; Hours: 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.Shift: Weekend Afternoons; Days: Saturday - Wednesday; Hours: 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.* The current opening will be assigned to the Weekend Afternoons shift.
