IBC's focus is to be customer centric and strive to provide excellent customer experience.The International Sales Representative is responsible for relationship building and driving the IBC experience by providing personalized international and domestic banking services carried out accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a "We Do More" attitude. This position supports an international officer who manages international and domestic high net-worth bank customers.Essential Job Functions:Listens carefully, creates connections, and establishes relationships with long-term and prospective high net-worth international and domestic customers by suggesting bank products and services that will meet their needs. Refer products and services through the bank's referral system.Drives the customer IBC experience by providing personalized service to customers for account-related transaction requests (checking, savings, certificates of deposits, loans, wire transfers, etc.) to comply with bank's policies and procedures.Under the One Team Concept, the international sales representative and international officer have monthly sales goals to meet.Assists international officer to prepare loans secured by certificates of deposit; also supports with loan collection, overdrafts, and assists the customer resolve issues.Logs and updates the bank's Customer Relationship Management (through Horizon) system with notes regarding customer interaction and transactions.Follow-up with customer due-diligence, dormant accounts, foreign status recertification.Provides basic online banking customer support.Assists customers with credit and debit card needs, as well as orders and ensures delivery of check orders, debit cards, etc.Update customer contact information and records.Trains on Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Reg E, regulations, Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC) coverage and ensures compliance with regulations when servicing customers in order to service high-risk customers.Attends meetings, events and participates in the bank's outreach projects.Other duties as assigned.Skills:Strong bilingual skills - must be fluent in English/SpanishExcellent verbal and written communication skills (English/Spanish)Customer service oriented (can begin conversation, build rapport, and promote products and services based on customer needs)Highly motivated and self-starterProblem resolutionTime managementGoal oriented and focus on resultsStrong math skills and an understanding of currency exchangeAttention to detail, discretion and confidentiality essentialMicrosoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Team player; builds relationship with international team to maximize customer experience.Education/Knowledge/Experience:High school graduate or GED equivalentPrior sales or office work a plus; banking experience preferredKnowledge of Mexican identification documents a plus
