Unarmed Security Officer Holiday CoverageIPSC has been offering security officer patrol services since 1977 and has expanded to provide a range of security-related services. We want you to join us as we relentlessly pursue excellence in security from a heart of service to others.IPSC is hiring unarmed security guards to work in Highlands Ranch holiday coverage for the Christmas holiday. Pay is $18-$19 per hour. Parking lot patrol in a company vehicle, must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record and be at least 25 years old. Valid driver's license and Colorado Springs guard card required. Prior law enforcement, military, and/or security experience is a plus. Full-time and part-time positions available. Retirees and veterans welcome.Shifts: 12/24- 2:00p-11:59p 12/25 12:00A-1200p; 12:00p-11:59p 12/26 12:00A-0600A. Must be able to pass a drug screen. Must have reliable transportation and have an active cell phone number.Physical and Mental Job Requirements:Must have effective written and verbal communication skills and must be able to communicate clearly and quickly in cases of emergency.A Security Officer must be able to read and interpret written information under a variety of circumstances.A Security Officer must be able to drive a motor vehicle in the course of his/her duties if required.A Security Officer must be able to detect and identify sounds relevant to fires, floods, alarm signals, and persons in distress against distracting sound background conditions (e.g., machinery, traffic noise, etc.).A Security Officer must be able to: Walk, Run, Stand, Climb, Sit.A Security Officer must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. waist high, if required.A Security Officer must be in good mental health and be able to make decisions instantly on the event of an emergency.A Security Officer must meet the physical and mental requirements of the state(s) to be licensed by the state to perform Security Guard / Security Officer work.
