3D Asset Archivist

Our client, a well-known entertainment company, is looking for a 3D Asset Archivist to join their team for a 4-month contract in Glendale, CA. This position requires working onsite for the initial training period, and will then be remote. You must live locally.
Overview:
We are looking for someone with 3D modeling, texturing, rigging, and animation experience to help review and archive our assets for our digital collectibles business. This position requires a general knowledge of 2D animation, motion graphic, and design, and a general comfort in working in 3D pipelines. They will review 3D models and assets for any issues, and archive/catalogue these assets.
- Pay Rate: $25-$31/hour
Responsibilities:
- Check ins with Product and Creative teams to assess weekly workload.
- Receive assets and review them in their native environment/working files.
- Write up technical feedback/log any potential issues.
- Coordinate with product team regarding next steps for licensees if fixes are needed.
- Apply meta data/tagging, catalogue assets
- Manage the organization of our 3D/2D digital assets for the Creative Innovation Team.
Requirements:
- 2+ years as motion designer, 3D generalist, or similar field.
- Experience with After Effects, Photoshop, Cinema 4D, Unity, Maya, and Z-Brush.
- An excellent portfolio that demonstrates your mastery of this discipline.
- Strong understanding and interest in emerging markets such as NFT and A/R.
- Ability to execute assignments from beginning to end with minimal assistance or supervision.
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, meet deadlines, and expectations.
