Duration: Contract through 12/31/24 - possibility to extend to 2025

Pay: $60-65/hr



REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5-7+ years of security experience
  • SIEM tools – Splunk, Arcsight, Qualys, etc.
  • Firewalls & VPNs
  • Familiarity with securing cloud environments
  • Penetration tests

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Our client is a Fortune 100 telecommunications company, and their IP Video Operations team built a NextGen cDVR platform in a short period time. This group is on the operations side, and the team will be partnering closely with a lab environment to ensure the platform is secure and fully ready for a production environment going live to subscribers.
  • Monitor and respond to real-time threat information and provide security support.
  • Collaborating closely with the organization's security team to develop and implement security policies, procedures, and incident response plans.
  • Manage OS and certificate compliance with security teams
  • Analyze security logs, alerts, and other data generated by the SIEM system to detect and investigate potential security threats or incidents.
  • Analyze and interpret vulnerability scan results to identify potential security risks.
  • Provide timely and accurate reports on security activities, trends, and metrics to leadership and stakeholders.
