Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Intern to join our fast-paced and dynamic team. This internship offers a unique opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in both information technology and clerical duties. The ideal candidate will assist in various IT tasks while also providing support in clerical and administrative functions. This position is designed to provide exposure to a broad range of IT activities and enhance organizational skills through clerical responsibilities.


IT Projects:


Internal Audit

The IT department is conducting a thorough audit of user accounts and digital assets across all systems and applications. The IT intern will analyze system export data to determine obsolete user accounts and system objects and will flag such objects for additional action. The intern may need to interact with individuals across the organization to derive more information for questionable accounts and objects.


Hardware Upgrades

Assist with upgrading laptop RAM and full laptop hardware replacements.


User Support

Assist with handling user support requests.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage and organize documentation.
  • Compare system export data in various digital formats.
  • Use Excel to track audit activity and recommendations.
  • Data entry and manual manipulation of data may be required.
  • Collaborate with HR or other department leaders to gather information to address questions related to audited accounts.
  • Update IT leadership as to the status of data entry tasks and proactively involve leadership or other designated IT staff members when encountering obstacles.
  • Participate in IT projects, contributing to research, planning, and implementation activities.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to ensure timely resolution of user problems and inquiries.


Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and basic computer applications.
