We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team and provide top-notch care to our clients in the South Boston, VA to Danville, VA area.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Valid LPN license in the state of Virginia.
- Current CPR certification.
- Previous home health experience is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient-focused attitude.
