Position: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Functional Support Analyst


We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Functional Support Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will provide critical support to end users as part of our Financial Applications Management Team, which includes Developers, Analysts, and Data Administrators. As the primary Business Support Analyst for your assigned modules, you'll assist users in addressing application and data issues. This position is onsite with potential travel to company locations across the US.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the company's Accounting and Operations processes to effectively support users with any issues they encounter.
  • Respond promptly to user requests and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Conduct gap analyses to aid Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Business Process owners in prioritizing development needs.
  • Work with users and developers to design and implement solutions in Dynamics 365 that fulfill business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain detailed written and visual documentation of business processes implemented in Dynamics 365.
  • Stay updated on Dynamics 365 version upgrades and new feature releases.
  • Provide periodic training sessions to D365 users on the latest features and enhancements.
  • Log issues in the ticketing system and track enhancements in DevOps.
  • Perform end-to-end module testing to ensure business requirements are met.
  • Write test scripts and coordinate user acceptance testing.
  • Collaborate with the team to support workflow and application modifications.


Required Skills:

  • Proven experience and strong understanding of Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations and Power Platform.
  • Experience in Finance, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, and Manufacturing.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel formula building.
  • Ability to read and interpret MS SQL queries.
  • Solid grasp of corporate accounting principles.
  • Customer-focused, self-motivated, and adept at interacting with multiple teams.
  • Experience with Jet reporting and/or Docentric is a plus.


Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years in financial application support (Required).
  • At least 3-5 years of experience with Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations (Required).
  • Familiarity with Scrum framework for delivering support solutions.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps operations for task tracking.
  • Experience with Jet reporting and/or Docentric is a plus.


Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a computer-related or accounting-related field.

  • ITILv4 Foundation
  • Microsoft MB300 or MB310
  • Six Sigma Green Belt
