The primary focus is to form relationships with patients and care providers in order to maintain high levels of patient satisfaction. A professional image in appearance and attitude in every guest interaction is the standard. The Unit Host is trained to have a solid knowledge of all diets and exhibits a strong sense of urgency to ensure the timely, expedient, and accurate delivery of meals to our patients. These shifts are 12-h, working alongside patient care teams, dieticians, cooks and chefs.Job Specific DutiesAssembling and delivering patient trays in the hospital.Bending, standing, lifting, walking, pushing and/or pulling carts.Communication with both cooks and other unit hosts in regards to meal service and needs.Maintaining a clean work space.Other duties as assigned.What You Will NeedHigh School Diploma/GEDSuccessful candidates must meet eligibility criteria, including the ability to undergo and successfully complete a criminal background check and drug screen in accordance with applicable State laws and regulations.Ability to provide documents for work authorization.
