Accountabilities: Making outbound calls to set up and schedule service with customers Customer service Ability to build customer relationship & trust Developing a business development strategy focused on financial gain Arranging business development meetings with prospective clients Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction Conduct research to identify customer needs Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers Some weekend and after-hours work may be required 25%-35% travel required Qualifications and Requirements: Must have BS/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field Government Sales Managers should have a minimum of three years' experience doing sales in the government sector, specifically on the municipal level. Fleet Maintenance and automotive/fleet technical knowledge strongly preferred. Must have computer proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word & Excel) and FMIS/Inventory systems Problem analysis and resolution capability at both a strategic and operational level. Discipline: a proven track record as a self-starter with adherence to company policies. Strong customer orientation. Government Sales Managers will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as it relates to company employees and customers.
