Shift: Days, Nights 3*12hr.

Position Summary:

  • We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in psychiatric care to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients with mental health conditions, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.


Essential Functions:


  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitor patients' mental and physical health, reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
  • Provide support and education to patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Respond to psychiatric emergencies and provide crisis intervention when needed.
  • Foster a therapeutic and safe environment for patients.


Education:


  • Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program


Experience required:


  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in psychiatric or mental health nursing.


Certificate/License:


  • RN– Registered Nurse for SD or Compact
  • BLS– Basic Life Support
  • Nonviolent Crisis Prevention & Intervention Training (CPI)
