FAMILY LAW PARALEGAL


Job Description

A mid-size law firm is seeking to hire a Paralegal to join their team in Greenbelt, Maryland. This person will be supporting their Family Law, General Liability, and Workers Compensation Practice Groups all on the defense. We need someone with those areas of experience to come and join the team. The role will be HYBRID: 3 days onsite 2 days remote.


Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of Paralegal, Legal Secretary, or other related experience in Family Law, MUST be comfortable working in a hybrid work environment. Monday, Wednesday, Friday onsite. Tuesday Thursday remote. General Liability, and Workers Compensation
  • Experience using Microsoft Office including: Outlook, Outlook Calendar, Excel, Word, SharePoint, etc.
  • Experience preparing subpoenas, scheduling depositions, and managing dockets
  • Experience using ProLaw, PCLaw, or a similar software
  • Great communication and professionalism
  • Able to take direction well and hit the ground running with a great attitude


Compensation

$60k-$70k per year

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
