We’ll ask you to: • Manage the ongoing progress of a project task or segment, including the coordination of the project with City, County, and State officials, and other outside agencies. • Use your problem-solving skills to resolve a variety of complex problems, (i.e. conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, difficult coordination requirements). • Utilize your technical expertise by mentoring junior team members to help your team discover what drives them, nurturing their purpose and guiding them forward. • Coordinate with other engineering trades including process, structural, architectural, and electrical engineers to produce fully functioning facility designs. • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering • Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) • At least 2 years of civil design experience related to civil infrastructure projects including site layout, grading and drainage, utility design, and interdisciplinary coordination. • Project experience with municipal and public sector projects. • At least 1 year of (AutoCAD Civil3D) design experience or equivalent modeling software • Construction Management experience and familiarization with Services during Construction. • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written • Strong problem-solving skills • Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas • Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base • Ability to work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams Ideally, you’ll also have: • Civil 3D, BIM360, and ProjectWise proficiency and experience • Experience developing and modeling Civil 3D design surfaces and civil site pipeline systems • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables Essential Functions Work Environment • Equipment and Machines: Standard office PC, with software will be provided • Building Information Management design software • Attendance: On-Site Security training is mandatory before performing project duties • Timely response to resolve issues is expected • Travel required - As needed OTHER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • U.S. Citizenship required. • Valid driver's license is required. Must be able to work in a team atmosphere • Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation • Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others • Must take and pass a pre-employment drug and background check #NPC #SFHP
