We are all employee-owners at HDR, which is the foundation of our collaborative culture that connects employees around the world.In the role of Tolling Consultant, we'll count on you to:Contribute statistical analysis of project data, forecasting, benchmarking and identifying necessary project resourcesProvide professional consultationAchieve client satisfaction and meet project budget parametersTechnical Delivery Demonstrate growth toward becoming a nationally recognized expert in a tolling practice areaLead the development of work products such as technical documents or reports, PowerPoint presentations, Visio diagrams, and Excel modelsResearch tolling trends, technologies, and policies to inform client strategiesDevelopment of conceptual tolling approachesConduct deep data analysis using Excel, Power BI, relational databases, and other toolsMonitor and analyze toll transaction data to identify discrepancies, trends, and revenue opportunitiesReconcile tolling data across systems and vendors to verify accuracy and completenessAnalyze business processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and accuracySupport quality assurance reviews and recommend enhancementsTask & Project Management Support junior level staff in their development and growthLead projects and manage others in the delivery of tasks with a high level of qualityManage scopes of work, schedules, cost estimates, procurement documents, contracts, and provide oversight of project tasks, deliverables, and sub-contractsApply HDR's project management and QA/QC processesSupport general program management contracts for toll-related work elements including design reviews, operations, project production, and deliveryBusiness Development Lead business development efforts, including writing or reviewing proposalsIdentify opportunities and develop relationships with clients to secure contracts and tasksEngage with the industry through conferences, business development meetings, and demonstrating thought leadershipPerform other duties as assignedKeywords: Toll, Tolling, Consulting, Consultant, Back Office, Reporting, Business Rules, Operations, Change Management, Business Processes, Systems, Analysis, Procurement, Planning, Policy.Preferred QualificationsMaster's degreeKnowledge of ArcGIS, SQL Server and/or Crystal ReportsExperience in an A/E/C industryPMP CertificationFamiliarity with tolling roadside systems, back-office systems, and/or customer contact center operationsExcellent written and communication skills.Ability to handle a wide variety of tasks simultaneously requiring different skill sets.Ability to adapt to the needs of our clients and work outside of one's comfort zone.Ability to handle complex technical tasks with a can-do approachExperience working with state DOTs, toll system integrators, planning organizations, or Toll / Thruway / Turnpike Authorities.Familiarity with tolling policies, technologies, or equipment.Familiarity with data presentation and analytical tools such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.Preference is given to local candidatesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in related fieldA minimum of 5 years related experienceEfficient use of the internet and other electronic and hard copy media for researchStrong Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Project and Visio skillsExpert Microsoft Access and Excel skillsStrong analytical skills with the ability to compile and present summary level informationAbility to obtain, cleanse, merge and analyze data from multiple sourcesExcellent interpersonal skills and strong relationship, organizational and follow-up skillsSelf-starter with proven track record of accomplishmentsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustHDR is our company.
