In this role, you will be responsible for expanding our global forwarding services by acquiring new, profitable, and long-term customers. As a Sales Executive, you will develop new business opportunities and continuously expand your customer portfolio. You are a team player, promoting positive collaboration with sales, operations, and other functions. We expect you to contribute independently to your regional team, regularly meet your sales targets, and share best practices to contribute to the success of the sales team and branch. Enjoy the flexibility and independence of a fully remote position while still being an integral part of our dynamic team.Duties And ResponsibilitiesThe duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Initiating, planning, and conducting personal visits to potential new customers in your branch's sales territoryScheduling at least 8 personal meetings per week with potential and existing customers. Contact with potential and existing customers is expected 3 to 4 days per weekTargeting and acquiring medium to large potential customersMaintaining and developing (at least weekly) our CRM system (Opportunity Management)Actively maintaining customer relationships and ensuring the continued success of accounts with a locally assigned account executive/account managerFollowing up and processing sales leads generated by overseas branches or assigned by your sales managerParticipating in training to deepen relevant knowledge and skillsCoordinating offers with your sales coordinator (if available) and assisting in the handover of new customers to the local account executive/account managerRequirementsRequired:Sales experience in the field of global freight forwarding (air & ocean)A particularly convincing, mature personality with outstanding communication skills and negotiation skills at all levelsProactive, detail-oriented, and curiousSelf-motivated, results-oriented personality with a positive attitude and a clear focus on high quality and profitabilityRobust team playerExcellent sense for business opportunities and active pursuit thereofBuilding and maintaining strong cross-company relationshipsFluent in German and EnglishProficient use of MS Office, Excel, and PowerPointAdvantageous:Any additional language is an advantageAbility to think creatively and strategicallyWhat We OfferWe offer genuine opportunities to develop your talents in a fast-paced, global company.
