We are seeking a talented and passionate attorney to join our team in the fight to protect civil rights and liberties. As a litigation attorney, you will work closely with our experienced attorneys to provide compassionate legal support to our clients and handle cases from inception through appeal. The ideal candidate will have excellent legal research and writing skills, strong interpersonal skills, a demonstrated commitment to social justice advocacy, technological proficiency, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.


**Key Responsibilities**


-  Conduct thorough legal research and provide detailed analysis to support case strategies that empower our clients.


-  Draft legal correspondence, including representation and demand letters and mediation statements, with a focus on compassionate communication.


-  Participate in all aspects of litigation, including drafting complaints and motions, propounding and reviewing discovery, preparing for or taking depositions, and participating in hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings, while zealously advocating for our clients.


-  Assist in the review and investigation of inquiries for legal assistance, ensuring that we provide compassionate support to those in need.


-  Engage directly with clients and manage cases, empowering them throughout the legal process.


**Qualifications**


-  Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.


-  Admission to and good standing with the Colorado bar.


-  1-3 years of experience in civil rights, litigation, or related fields, demonstrating a commitment to zealous advocacy and compassionate legal support.


-  Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.


-  Strong communication and advocacy skills, with a focus on empowering clients and communities.


-  Technological proficiency.


-  Demonstrated passion for civil rights and commitment to social justice advocacy and EDI.


-  Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
