Job Opportunity: Negative News AnalystAverage week - 75 cases per week of negative news. Prior experience in transactional analysis, what is the suspicious activity in a high net worth individual, wires, investments and how that presents a risk. Fraud detection and analysis. Manage alerts, investigations, trade and transaction analysis/research, screening, and regulatory filings in compliance with the Firm's procedures. Conduct investigations from a variety of escalation channels (e.g., fraud, 314a, 314b, Sanctions, negative news, etc.) and draft the Suspicious Activity Report (SAR), as required. Ensure daily operational processing is completed according to established program SLAs and regulatory requirements.Skills & Qualifications:2-3+ years of strong investigative or related experience with emphasis on BSA/AML, including writing and preparing SARs in accordance with applicable regulatory requirementsNeed to have an analytical mindsetTransaction Monitoring, Enhance Due Diligence and AML/Fraud Investigations backgroundStrong understanding of multiple case types knowledge and the ability to learn concepts quicklySelf-motivated and independent operator with the ability and maturity to make decisions and operate in fast-paced and dynamic settingsUndergraduate DegreeMust be eligible to work in US, without sponsorship, on W-2Job Type & Location:This is a contract to hire position based out of Baltimore, MD.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
