Room Attendants are an essential part of our hotel team. In addition to cleaning and servicing guestrooms, public spaces, and laundry facilities, Room Attendants help build and maintain the look and image of the hotel.Room Attendant will be responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms daily in accordance with Country Inn & Suites standards. Specifically, Room Attendants will be entrusted with the below job responsibilities:Prepares bed and bath linensCleans and straightens roomsDisplays and replaces amenities and promotional materialsRemove trash, soiled linen, etc. and take to appropriate area for pick upMaintains supplies necessary to clean rooms efficientlyUtilize the proper cleaning methods to prevent injuryKeeps supply cart stockedLaundry, pressing and folding, towels, linen, etc.Report deficiencies in guest rooms and on guest floors to the housekeeping/engineering management teamEnsure cleanliness of guest room hallways, elevators, public areas and service corridors in accordance with hotel standardsInventory and maintain the cleanliness of the linen closetsProject an image of professionalism, friendliness and willingness to provide personalized service to our guestsSet, stock, and maintain guestrooms and spaces in line with brand standardsAdhere to the hotel's lost and found policies and proceduresRequirements:Must be eligible to work in the US and have all necessary documents listed on I-9 and verified through eVerify.Ideal candidate will have experience working in a hotel environment that provides a superior level of guest service and professionalismAbility to work quickly while maintaining a close attention to detailMust possess the ability to handle multiple tasks at onceExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to effectively communicate with department managers, team members and guestsMust possess a strong team spiritMaintain high energy for long periods of timePhysical Demands:Perform repetitive hand and arm movementsAbility to lift, pull, push up to 70 pounds on an ongoing basisMust be able to squat, bend, kneel and twist on an ongoing basisAbility to stand for long periods of timeOccasional lifting of up to 50 poundsChoice Hotels International is an equal opportunity employer and affirmative action employer.
