The Medical-Surgical Telemetry Nurse provides comprehensive care to patients requiring continuous monitoring of their cardiac status and general medical or surgical care. The role involves assessing patient needs, coordinating care, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

*Job Details:*
* *$55/hr - $58/hr*

* Night Shift
* 7:00pm - 7:00am

*Key Responsibilities:*
* *Patient Monitoring:* Continuously monitor patients’ cardiac rhythms and vital signs using telemetry equipment; identify and respond to changes in patient status promptly.
* *Patient Care:* Provide direct nursing care to patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions, including administering medications, managing IV lines, and performing wound care.
* *Assessment and Documentation:* Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history taking and physical exams; document all patient care and observations accurately and in a timely manner.
* *Care Coordination:* Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare providers to develop and implement patient care plans; communicate changes in patient conditions to the appropriate team members.

*Qualifications:*
* *Education:* Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
* *Licensure:* Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey or Compact Licensure
* *Certifications:* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
* *Experience:* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry nursing role preferred; experience with telemetry monitoring and acute care settings is a plus.
* *Skills:* Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
