About the Role:

Senior BIM & CAD Drafter for a bridge construction project in Louisiana, US.


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the creation and modification of design models, both 2D and 3D, to be used in the planning and construction of the project.
  • Organize and optimize the preparation of construction drawings, ensuring they meet project requirements and support specialized design work as needed.
  • Provide technical support during the construction phase of the project, identifying and reporting technical risks and assisting in the preparation of risk reports.
  • Ensure the correct transmission of design information to the entire project team and assist in resolving non-conformances and unforeseen events that may arise during construction.
  • Work closely with engineers, draftsmen, and designers to review drawings and designs, ensuring that the entire team is aligned with project objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Technical Office and Construction teams to facilitate the effective execution of the project, meeting established technical requirements and schedules.
  • Conduct field visits to collect data and locate grade markers essential for the development of designs.


Qualifications:

  • BIM & CAD Drafting experience.
  • Experience in Construction is preferred.
  • 8+ years of engineering-related experience.
  • Experience with Revit and Microstation is an asset.
  • Experience working in a multi-cultural environment is a plus.
