Woven/Print Stylist

Woven/Print Stylist:

The Woven/Print Stylist will work closely with the Design Director of Swavelle Upholstery in developing new product for both wovens and prints for the Residential market. They will be responsible for the day-to-day management of both categories.

Print Responsibilities:

Manage digital print process for each season, which includes but not limited to:

• Create concepts for designs with selecting art or creating new
• Design pattern and repeat/layout on AVA, EAT, and Photoshop
• Spearhead color direction for prints
• Select colors for line
• Market research and analysis
• Maintain Smartsheet for product category

Cultivate relationship with overseas print partners:

• Manage process for each collection
• Oversee pricing and minimums

Woven Responsibilities:

Work collaboratively with wovens upholstery team on collections

• Create strategic concepts for patterns for each open line collection
• Research and design new construction ideas for collections
• Select color for collections
• Source trends in marketplace
• Analyze sales
• Work on customer specific projects and attend meetings
• Maintain Smartsheet for projects
• Attend Interwoven and market shows

Skill Set:

• 7+ years of design experience in digital and woven industry
• Proficient in EAT, Photoshop, and AVA programs
• Highly organized and be able to work autonomously
• Communicate and maintain product development process from concept to launch
• Customer focused and customer facing
