Job SummaryWe are seeking a Dispensary Pharmacy Technician to work collaboratively with other pharmacy technicians to prepare prescriptions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all tasks and duties are completed in accordance with HIPAA guidelines, State and Federal laws, and current company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Dispense prescription drugs for pharmacist verification
- Remove expired products weekly
- Organize and maintain product stock
- Count, measure, and prepare specified products using company best practices
- Notify management of out-of-stock or low inventory products
- High school diploma required
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Maintenance of registration at the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy
- Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Team player with proactive approach to problem solving
- Independently motivated and versatile team player
