This role will entail the precise and timely preparation of proposals and bids for commercial construction projects. Responsibilities include identifying and calculating labor, material, and time costs through thorough review of proposals, blueprints, specifications, and other bid documents.
Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Effective prioritization and organizational skills; meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in estimating software such as Timberline, OST, and MC2.
- Familiarity with tools like Primavera (P6), Bluebeam, Synchro, Excel, and Word.
- Comprehensive understanding of construction disciplines.
- 1-5 years of prior experience in commercial construction, including public, private, or federal projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering.
Essential Job Duties:
- Attend project and pre-bid meetings to assess site conditions and project scope.
