Temporary Janitor

Janitorial (Temp)The janitor (temp) will substitute the absent janitorial staff and perform all necessary janitorial and maintenance duties as needed.ResponsibilitiesMust substitute the Janitorial staff's responsibilities for the day and that includes the job duties belowSweep and mop the floorsClean bathrooms and restock bathroom suppliesCleanliness of Dining Room area (wipe down tables, stacking chairs, gym equipment etc.)General Office Cleaning (Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, etc)Empty all garbage cans and dispose of all garbageMaintain cleanliness of the reception area and the donation areaAssist in folding forks to prepare for next lunchMaintain cleanliness of the Computer Room and Music RoomWipe down front glass door and hand railingRecord on the daily cleaning logsOther duties as assigned by the Administrator/Program Coordinator/Corps OfficerQualificationsGood character and willing to workMust be physically able to lift heavy objects and follow safety proceduresBe flexible with work hours to accommodate special events or assigned tasks.Must be able to speak and understand Chinese (preferable Cantonese).Ability to follow through with assigned tasks.Can work well with othersAble to work Monday-Friday within the hours of 9:00am-4:00pm as needed
