Parts SpecialistThe Parts Specialist will provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service. This position will also support store management in the accomplishment of assigned tasks. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.Essential Job FunctionsFollow and promote all company customer service programsPromptly greet retail/walk-in customers in a friendly, courteous mannerAssist managers and/or installer service specialists in serving the professional customersComplete assigned company training relevant to positionProvide excellent service to customers calling the store on the phoneResponsible for accurately maintaining and securing the cash drawerProcess exchanges and returns for credit in a friendly mannerAddress and resolve customer complaints in a friendly mannerAssist with the completion of daily image maker, and planogram updatesPerform various daily operational tasksOperate brake lathe and other store test equipmentPerform various in-store services for customersOccasionally drive a delivery vehicle to make deliveriesAll other duties as assignedSkills/Education/Knowledge/Experience/AbilitiesRequired:Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequencesAbility to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer serviceMust be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same timeDesired:Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or serviceASE certificationFluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)O'Reilly Auto Parts has a proven track record of growth and stability.
