Service Electrician Residential Service & InstallationPay: $25$30/hr, Location: Chicago and surrounding Suburbs - Company Van ProvidedWe're looking for a skilled Service Electrician to join our team This position focuses on residential service and installation work, ensuring homeowners receive safe, reliable electrical solutions.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our growing Electrical department. This role focuses on residential service upgrades, diagnostics, and generator installations, with occasional light commercial work. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesPerform electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting for residential systems.Install and upgrade electrical panels, wiring, and circuits according to code.Install and maintain backup generators and related systems.Ensure compliance with NEC and local electrical codes during all installations.Maintain accurate service records and communicate effectively with clients.Provide recommendations for energy efficiency and system improvements.Essential SkillsElectrical expertise in conduit, wiring, and troubleshooting.Proficiency in residential service installations and upgrades.Experience in installing and servicing panels, outlets, and fixtures.Ability to perform generator installations and construction work.Skilled in blueprint reading, conduit bending, and wire pulling.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with light commercial electrical work is a plus.Ability to maintain a company vehicle and adhere to company policies.Why Work Here?We offer direct hire into the company, with comprehensive health benefits, a company vehicle, opportunities to earn commissions, a 401k plan, and paid time off (PTO).Work EnvironmentWork hours are Monday through Friday from 7am to 4pm, with potential for weekend work.
