Avera is seeking a Respiratory Therapy Assistant to join the team

Job Summary

Primarily responsible to administer respiratory therapy according to the Respiratory Services Standards of Care and evaluate the effectiveness of that therapy.

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Required to be currently enrolled in an A.M.A. approved school of Respiratory Therapy. 

Certification, Licensure, Registration

  • Required to possess a temporary Respiratory Therapist License or Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT) for the state of South Dakota.

Work Schedule

  • Varied Shifts: occasional weekends; PRN (as needed)
