Due to a recent internal promotion, fast growing division of a Swedish based Manufacturing Company seeks an experienced Mechanical Engineer with at least 2 years of machinery/equipment design engineering experience. This is a key position in the company supporting a critical Mobile Machinery System Product Line. Outstanding work environment and excellent benefits. Summary:

  • Complete design packages for sophisticated and well established mobile machinery product line
  • Analyze specification and requirements.
  • Collaborate with a seasoned group of long standing engineers across a few distinct equipment manufacturing lines.
  • Creates and modifies solid models of new and existing parts/products as necessary, multi-view, detailed, drawings of assemblies, sub-assemblies and parts.
  • Design parts and assemblies to include and not limited to fabrication, assembly, detailed instructions, schematic and layout.
  • Modifies designs to correct deficiencies and/or reduce production problems
  • Review and analyze designs to correct drawings per specifications.
  • Design to industry, engineering and company standards.
  • Detailed orientated, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Contribute to team efforts by performing additional tasks as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2 years minimum engineering design experience, machine design strongly preferred
  • B.S. Mechanical Engineering
  • EIT certificate preferred
  • Knowledge of drafting standards, practices and techniques.
  • Knowledge of industrial equipment and tools.
  • Proficient in 3D Cad Modeling (inventor preferred but not required)
  • Strong organizational, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, analytical, & self-sufficient preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced industry leading environment and on multiple projects concurrently.
