Required Qualifications


  • BS degree in Engineering (Civil or Structural is preferred)
  • Must have at least (3) years of civil/structure design experience
  • Experience in the design with STAAD or equivalent software



Preferred


  • Registered PE License (or EIT with ability/desire to obtain PE)
  • Transmission structure and/or substation design experience
  • Experience using PLS-CADD / PLS-POLE software



Responsibilities


  • Design of transmission line/substation structures and foundations
  • Required to interpret written client specifications and be able to assist in the preparation of Preliminary Designs and Proposals.
  • Responsible for carrying out project management from onset of the contract through the delivery of the product or completion of the project
  • Design of EHV, HV, and MV transmission structures using PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE software
