About The Position
**Job Title:** Physician**Job Specialty:** Hematology Oncology**Job Duration:** Permanent**Shift:** Days, Monday-Thursday office clinics 8:00 am-4:30 pm, Friday half administration day or overflow clinic day**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified**Experience:** Open to new graduates and experienced candidates**License:** Michigan license (or willing to obtain)**Certifications:** Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology**Must-Have:**- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care- Open to H-1B visa candidates**Job Description:**- Provide full-scope medical oncology and hematology care- Approximately 20% inpatient and 80% outpatient work- Split work of 30% in hematology and 70% in solid tumor cases- Current outpatient patient census is around 25 patients per clinic; inpatient volume varies and averages 5-10 patients- Work as part of a cohesive team with three full-time medical oncologists and one full-time hematologist- Support staff includes a dedicated medical assistant and clinic RN as well as two inpatient NPs- Academic affiliation potential with medical students and residents- Participate in shared call schedule with a dedicated inpatient floor close to the cancer care center and clinic- Utilize state-of-the-art technology including linear accelerators and other advanced equipment- Contribute to an environment that ranks in the top 10% nationally for patient experience- Enjoy a supportive workplace environment focused on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction- Use EPIC for electronic medical records management- Not accepting locum candidatesThis position offers a rewarding opportunity to be part of a team that values clinical and workplace excellence, with a focus on comprehensive cancer care in a multidisciplinary environment.
