We are looking for an experienced Director, Associate Director or Senior Account Director to join our New York team for a year-long maternity cover, with the potential to become a permanent role. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic communications leader to shape strategy, inspire teams, and lead prestigious client accounts shaping contemporary culture in the USA and globally. You will guide a talented team delivering bold and thoughtful work across strategic communications and integrated marketing, including thought partnership at the leadership level, issues management, media relations, partnerships, and digital strategies. This role also requires the ability to spearhead new business development and outreach, including but not limited to cultivating prospective clients, proposal writing, pitching and the successful onboarding of new clients. As part of our senior team, you will also be responsible for line management and nurturing a collaborative, forward-thinking culture. We're looking for someone with: 10+years of experience in communications or PR, ideally in the arts, culture or luxury sectors Proven success managing clients, teams, and high-profile campaigns Crisis management A deep understanding of the international media landscape and strong editorial relationships Exceptional communication, creativity, and leadership skills At Sutton, you'll join a global community of storytellers passionate about contemporary culture and ideas.
