Receptionist Opportunity In Metairie, LouisianaWe are looking for a detail-oriented and organized receptionist to join our team in Metairie, Louisiana. This short-term contract-to-permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to showcase your administrative and customer service skills in a dynamic showroom environment. The role requires a proactive individual who can manage front desk operations efficiently while providing exceptional support to clients and team members.Responsibilities:Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, ensuring a welcoming and detail-oriented environment.Answer incoming phone calls promptly and direct them to the appropriate departments or individuals.Perform accurate data entry tasks to maintain and update records.Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues effectively.Manage daily administrative tasks, including scheduling and correspondence.Organize and maintain the reception area to ensure a clean and functional workspace.Assist with showroom operations, including facilitating client interactions and supporting sales staff.Utilize Microsoft Word and other tools to create and manage documents as needed.Support additional tasks such as shipping coordination or assisting with inventory, depending on business needs.Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and address any challenges proactively.Requirements:Previous experience in receptionist or front desk roles is preferred.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and familiarity with other Office applications.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact confidently with clients and colleagues.Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize workload effectively.High attention to detail, particularly in data entry and record-keeping.Comfortable working in a customer-facing role with a detail-oriented approach.Basic knowledge of administrative processes and office equipment.Willingness to adapt to evolving responsibilities and support team goals.
