Job Description: The Pharmacist– Investigational Drug Services collaborates with staff and leaders of the Departments of Clinical Research, Pharmacy, Nursing, and Medical Staff to lead the design, implementation and improvement of system-wide investigational drug services in accordance with federal and state regulatory requirements and health system policies. The Pharmacist– Investigational Drug Services duties and responsibilities include: coordinating, collaborating and providing support as subject matter expert of clinical investigational drug trials; performing education responsibilities; providing accurate and efficient dispensing of medication; performing administrative responsibilities; providing direct and/or functional supervision; ensuring adherence to study specific protocols; maintaining overall responsibility for pharmacy operations in assigned area; performing communication responsibilities; performing other duties consistent with the job classification, as required. Education: School of Pharmacy – Accredited by ACPE – Required Experience: 2 years Healthcare – Acute Care experience - required Completion of a Pharmacy Residency (PGY1)– American Society of Health System Pharmacists (ASHP) – Accredited – Preferred Licensure/Certification: RPH Registered Pharmacist - California Board of Pharmacy - Required BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association- Required Work Shift: 08.0 - 08:00 - 16:30 No Waive (United States of America) Pay Range: $88.03 - $118.84 Hourly Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure. Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area . Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word ‘exempt’ on it. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
