This is a full-time, first-shift position (7:00 AM 3:30 PM) supporting our dynamic and fast-paced operations.Responsibilities:Comfortable navigating a small, handheld scanner to conduct a high variety of transactions in a Distribution Center environmentPicks standard customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct quantity and type of product is packed and meet standardsOperates or trains on any material handling equipment safely and efficiently as requiredAble to pick LTL and/or large orders using MHE such as stand-up Reach truck or Order/Cherry PickerCross-trained to process complex eCommerce and Special Handling ordersInspects customer orders for shipment, verifying that the correct number and type of product is packed and meets standardsPacks all customer orders effectively to provide safe handling by carriers, assisting in quality products arriving to end customerAbility to process small parcel shipments and troubleshoot address validation and/or ship method issuesAssists in loading outgoing shipments either manually or with MHEReceives incoming product, ability to separate by SKU, apply LPN labels and prepare stock for putawayOrganizes incoming inventory deliveries for proper storage and placement.Efficiently stocks shelves with newly packaged items from the packaging departmentConsolidates primary and overstock locations to effectively utilize the cubic space of the distribution centerResponsible for making and ensuring putaway and all pick locations are replenishedBasic Qualifications & Skills:Experience working with computers, document printers, scanners, label printers, and barcode labelsExperience with warehouse operations and proceduresKnowledge and experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Red Prairie and/or Softeon systems are a plusCertification (or willingness to be trained) to drive forklifts, order/cherry picker, or other material handling equipmentProven ability to work safely with above average accuracyMust be able to read, write, and speak English fluentlyAbility to lift up to 60 pounds independentlyNSI Industries offers a competitive salary, performance-based and attendance bonuses for certain roles.
