Location- (Tampa, Greensboro, Pompano, Miramar), FL

Contract Duration – 13 weeks

Shift- Day/night

Pay Package- $61/hr


Job Description

Coordinate technical activities in the cytology preparatory laboratory and monitor and day-to-day activities of the cytology laboratory


Read and interpret a gynecologic pap smear by examining cytology specimens for the presence of abnormal cellular changes and pathogens


Enter diagnostic interpretation into Cytology LIS


Accountable for accurately labeling slides, for filling out QC forms, daily maintenance reports for cytology lab equipment and for the diagnostic accuracy of all personally signed out cases


Assist in the individual instruction of cytology students


Record laboratory results into the laboratory information system record them on cytology worksheets


Examines and accurately reports on Gynecologic and Non-gynecologic Cytology specimens


Provide diagnostic screening for all cytology cases, including GYN and non-GYN


Frequently wash hands, as biohazardous materials may be present
