Infusion Registered Nurse

Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to join our rheumatology clinic team. In this role, you will be responsible for administering infusion therapies to patients with rheumatologic disorders, monitoring their responses, and ensuring high-quality, compassionate care. You will collaborate with rheumatologists and other healthcare professionals to support personalized treatment plans and improve patient outcomes.


Schedule:

- Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

- Friday 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM

- No on call

- No weekends


Patient load:

- 20-22 patients a day


Benefits:

Key Responsibilities:


- Administer intravenous medications and biologic agents as prescribed for rheumatologic conditions.

- Monitor patients during and after infusion treatments for any adverse reactions or side effects.

- Prepare and maintain infusion equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and infection control protocols.

- Document patient treatment and responses accurately in electronic medical records.

- Educate patients and their families about infusion procedures, potential side effects, and aftercare.

- Collaborate with rheumatologists and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient care and treatment plans.


Qualifications:

- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.

- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.

- Experience with infusion therapy, preferably in a rheumatology or outpatient clinic setting.

- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
