Accounting Assistant Senior

Our client, a leading organization in the energy industry, is seeking an Accounting Asst Sr to join their team. As an Accounting Asst Sr, you will be part of the Accounting Department supporting financial operations and transactional data management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and adaptability, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Accounting Assistant Sr. Location: Canton, OH (Onsite) Pay Rate: $27.14/hr. What's the Job? Provide general accounting clerical support within the assigned Accounting Department. Prepare, process, and review recurring accounting transactions such as invoices, remittance advices, and customer checks. Research and resolve discrepancies related to recurring accounting transactions. Assist in reviewing general ledger account activity for accuracy. Assist in developing and documenting processes and procedures, and respond to data requests from internal and external customers. What's Needed? Associate Degree in Business or Accounting, or a high school diploma/GED with 8+ years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Experience working with large volumes of transactional data is beneficial. Familiarity with PeopleSoft, Brainware/OnBase, and ServiceNow is preferred.
