HirePlace is currently hiring a Devops Engineer in the Boise, Idaho area. This is a contract to hire opportunity working a full 40 hours weekly. Our client is a healthcare data led organization that's growing. The hire will be expected to work mostly in a remote setting with the option to occasionally be onsite as needed. Daily Responsibilities:


  • Design, develop, and deploy the technology that our client proprietarily delivers to people in healthcare.
  • Bring enthusiasm and passion daily to the team and companywide initiatives
  • Help enable teams increase their ability to bring products to market faster using CI/CD
  • Build solutions that allow development teams to be more autonomous and agile
  • Work closely with security engineering teams to ensure vulnerable environments maintain integral security.
  • Being will to participate in on-call rotations
  • Work within cloud based products such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Interest in new technology and implementing/proposing these new technologies to the team/organization
  • Be adaptable and have the ability to switch tasks as company initiatives change


Work Experience and Requirements:


  • 3+ years experience implementing infrastructure as code.
  • Experience working with Terraform or similar software.
  • 2+ years experience working with a major cloud provider such as Azure, GCP, or AWS
  • Creating and maintaining pipelines using software such as Azure Devops, GoCD, Jenkins
  • A hands-on understanding of version controls systems
  • 2+ years experience working with containerization tools such as Kubernetes or AKS
  • Logging and Monitoring experience working with NewRelic, Grafana, Loki or Splunk
  • Understand Object-Oriented languages and design patterns
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
