Pay: $18-20

Schedule: 6am-2:30pm - Mon-Fri + Overtime as Needed

Position Type: Contract To Hire


ENGLISH AND SPANISH PROFICIENCY REQUIRED.


Position scope:

In this role, you will: be responsible for providing complete preventive maintenance and

servicing of the production equipment to ensure continuous operations. Leadership model

demonstrating core values of integrity, respect, honesty and diversity.


Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate the sense of urgency to correct operational and safety problems
  • Provide reliable operations of manufacturing equipment to ensure product meets customer demands
  • Review and audit all assigned areas regularly
  • Provide proper repair, improvement and preventive maintenance to ensure buildings, grounds, vehicles and equipment are in compliance with codes
  • Perform electrical, maintenance and custodial tasks for buildings, grounds and equipment
  • Maintain records for equipment inventory, building systems, preventive maintenance program
  • Organized, capable of prioritizing to perform multiple tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines
  • Work independently and as a team, interpersonal skills
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
  • Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skills.
  • Comply with all Employment Handbook policies and procedures.
  • Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.
  • Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.


Required Skills:

  • Sitting/Standing/Walking constantly 6-8 hours
  • Simple grasping constantly 6-8 hours
  • Lifting up to 75 lbs occasionally less than 1 hour
  • Reaching at or below shoulder level occasionally 4-6 hours
  • General knowledge of trouble shooting industrial machines, sewing machines, and electrical equipment
  • Ability to communicate
  • Experience with Preventative Maintenance
  • Safety Knowledge ex: LOTO, Electrical Safety
  • Bilingual (Spanish)
